Line up for this year's Ashby Big Weekend has been announced for the two day Bath Grounds event

The line up for this year's Ashby Big Weekend has been announced - with acts lined up for both the Saturday and Sunday.

It will be staged on the August Bank Holiday weekend (26th and 27th), and you can buy tickets HERE.

Saturday's line up includes A Vision of Elvis on Tour.

This is a highly acclaimed tribute show that has gained a reputation as one of the world's best Elvis impersonators. 

The tribute act brings the music and spirit of the King of Rock and Roll to the stage.

Ashby band W4 will also be playing at the event.

They have been entertaining audiences for over 20 years with their incredible range of music, from classic rock to modern-day rock hits. 

From the iconic rock anthems of the 60s through to the latest chart-topping hits, this band can play it all.

Also appearing are, Riffler are a five-piece covers band with energy - and a wide genre of music to suit.

Chris George will be playing solo although he is known locally for fronting popular rock band ReSession. He will be playing high energy rock and pop covers ranging from The Killers to Eminem.

The Heartland Roots Band are a Brit-Country rock group that won Group Of The Year 2021 at the UK Country Music Awards and ARC Radio Music Awards. 

Their sound is a unique blend of traditional and modern country, Americana blues and rock. 

Coalville-based Oli Mellor will also be on stage at the Bath Grounds.

The loop pedal artist is influenced by Ed Sheeran, Sam Fender and The Kooks. 

The Ashbeian Musical Theatre Group is an amateur musical theatre group based in Ashby. 

The Society was formed in 1962 and has continued to perform musicals annually since that date.

As well as that, the Expressions Dance & Theatre Academy will be performing between sets.

On Sunday, Showaddywaddy Let's Rock 'n Roll Elite play live.

Formed in 2009, this band features lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums, tenor sax, and two front men, all fully accomplished musicians/singers. 

They have an additional third backing singer among the musicians. The band performs in Showaddywaddy-style jackets and trousers, with their own sound and lighting equipment. They play 40 songs, including all the well-known Showaddywaddy hits, as well as some conventional rock n roll and glam rock songs.

The Ashby Big Band is a Swing Orchestra paying tribute to legends such as Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington. 

They rehearse monthly and perform at prestigious events with tailored programmes.

The Dazzlettes are a talented and entertaining musical group with incredible performances of popular toe-tapping Motown classics.

Local artist Charlotte Bettson played the Ynot Festival last year, sharing the line-up with the likes of Stereophonics, Nothing But Thieves and Gabrielle.

She will be performing a set of popular cover songs at Ashby Big Weekend mixed with her own songs which have been played on radio stations such as BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln, Planet Rock, RTÉ in Ireland and many more. 

With over 12,000 followers on TikTok, she is one to keep an eye on.

Harry Thornley is back after playing this event last year.

He has been singing for over 10 years and covers everything from the 1950s through to the current day.
