Parents applying for school places for children in Ashby will be affected by the changes to catchment areas for primary schools that are due to be introduced in September 2021.
Thieves forced their way into the Tesco Express store in Measham High Street in the early hours of Monday morning and stole cash.
Leicestershire Police are investigating the incident after four people forced the shutters open, attacked the tills and took money.

The travellers who left a trail of damage to the tune of £1,200 after occupying a Measham lay-by have been banned from returning for three months.
Ashby cafe owner Paul Boyle was forced to abandon his business when the travellers arrived with a convoy of caravans and based themselves outside.
The Leicester Comedy Festival is ready to 'take over' Ashby, Coalville and the National Forest this week.
North West Leicestershire - as a region - will be hosting a Big Weekend of comedy shows for the first time.

AN Ashby man who was forced out of his roadside cafe by travellers is ready to open his doors to customers again.
But Paul Boyle says he returned to find £1,200 worth of damage had been caused - and he was then hit by a weekend theft from the site when the caravans had left.

Queues of around eight miles are being reported on the M1 northbound this morning after a collision at Junction 24 for East Midlands Airport.
Highways England says that three lanes out of four have been closed because of the crash.

Ashby's Co-ops have an unusual gift on sale for Valentine's Day - an ice-cream shaped like a rose.
Co-op customers will be able to get their hands on a box of four strawberry rose cones, which is a strawberries and cream ice cream shaped like a rose petal with a cone crafted to look the stem of a flower.

Paul Boyle has had to shut the Ace of Spades down because of damage allegedly caused to his fixed-unit property.
