North West Leicestershire District Council has been shortlisted in the national 2021 Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management.

The council has been nominated in the Best Local Authority Recycling Initiative for their Recycle More... campaign.

Police located a 74-year-old man who had become lost in the grounds of Calke Abbey today (Wednesday) - and later had to be hospitalised.
