Locals have just over a week to have their say on the future of the Bath Grounds in Ashby.

Ashby Town Council has launched an online questionnaire, asking for feedback on the public open space.

The town council is seeking feedback on the improvements it has already made, as well as residents' experience of the park in general.

The survey is open until 9 October and then the council will look at further possible changes and improvements, dependent on budget.

"One of the main concerns highlighted in the 2024 was people feeling safe in the park, particularly during the evenings when it gets dark," the council said.

"As a result of this feedback, additional lighting has been installed along the Heritage Trail from South Street to Prior Park.

"The town council would really appreciate your feedback to these improvements as well as the Bath Grounds in general.

"This survey closes on 9 October 2026.

"Once all the data has been collated, the town council will look at where other potential changes and improvements need to be made in the future, budget constraints permitting."
