Ashby has more street entertainment on offer over the next couple of days - starting today (Friday).

PC Gone Mad will be in Market Street today - with Helter Skelter stilt walkers in the town centre tomorrow (Saturday).

Pc Gone Mad's website describes their act like this: "Is your event up to scratch ? Have you been fully health and safety verified?? These pompous police will patrol your event and make sure everything is ship shape.

"If not you'd better watch out !

"Whatever you are doing 'Stop It Now!' PC Gone Mad are here to put and end to fun, laughter and smiling. These trouser less, pompous public servants will patrol, police and prosecute at every possibility.

"So Watch Out!

"This politically correct walkabout was originally commissioned by Cardiff Festival Events as food health and safety officers.

"It worked so well and we quickly found the archetype translated over many genres and cultures.

"Hence the development of PC Gone Mad."

Helter Skelter says on its website: "For us, it is all about making a difference to someone's day, and leaving lasting impressions and memories that can be treasured for years to come.

"We are passionate about our job and our company."
