By Graham Hill   1st Feb 2021

The supposed tradesman are over-charging large amount for cheap products.

A post on the North West Leicestershire Police's Facebook page reads: "Recently, we have had complaints that 'doorstep sellers' have been targeting elderly residents to buy products for an over inflated price and take advantage of them.

"One such incident happened where an elderly resident paid £60 for a small amount of cleaning products.

"If you live near a retirement complex or live near or next door to someone who is elderly then please keep an eye out for them.

"If you see something suspicious then call in on 101 to report."
