Police Incident Closes Northbound A42 At Ashby On Tuesday Night

The A42 was closed northbound up to the Flagstaff Island at Ashby from Junction 10 Tamworth due to a police incident on Tuesday night.
Highways England says that diversion routes are being put in place.
Traffic is heavy in the area so drivers are urged to plan ahead if you need to use this route.
Drivers are currently stopped within the closure.
Highways England are working hard to get motorists released safely so they can continue their journeys.
