Ashby held its Remembrance Day Service on Sunday - with large crowds turning out once more for the annual occasion in Market Street.

For the first time since the pre-Covid years, a band led the way and there was a parade through the town before two minutes' silence was observed at 11am.

The Donisthorpe Reunion Band took part in the event along with representatives from local authorities, school, clubs and organisations.
