Man found dead at Ashby address after 'concern for welfare' report

A man was found dead at an Ashby address last Friday - but his death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police and the East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to a property in Burton Road shortly before 9am.
The man, who has not been named by police, was pronounced dead at the scene with forensics officers arriving soon afterwards.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: "Police were called to an address in Burton Road at 8.40am following a report of concern for welfare.
"Officers attended and found a man inside, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
"Identification of the deceased is a matter for HM Coroner."
