Man Arrested By Police After Report Of Assault In Moira Street
Police were called to Blackfordby Lane in Moira on Friday night after reports a man had been assaulted in the street.
Officers attended the incident in between 11.30pm and just after midnight.
A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Police said a 22-year-old local man was arrested.
But he has since been released and no further action will be taken.
The victim sustained minor injuries at the time.
Social media reports suggested a number of police cars and a van arrived on the scene to break up the disturbance.
