Council Elections: North West Leicestershire results in full

It was a clean sweep for the Conservatives in North West Leicestershire as the local election results were announced today (Friday).
The result from Coalville North saw Leicestershire County Council's Labour Group leader Dr Terry Eynon lose her seat.
County Council leader Nick Rushton comfortably regained his Valley seat.
The only Labour stronghold was in neighbouring Loughborough which stayed red.

Craig Smith (Conservative) 1357 votes (42.8 per cent of the vote)

Marie French (Lib Dem) 480 (15.7)
David Robinson (Green Party) 132 (4.17)
Graham Partner (For Britain Movement) 127 (4.01)
Turnout: 30.65
Coalville South
Keith Merrie (Conservative) 1584 (43.2)
Michael Wyatt (Lib Dem) 1144 (31.2)
Charlotte Le Grys (Labour) 688 (18.7)
Mark Burns (Green Party) 202 (5.51)
Sadie Cubitt (Freedom Alliance) 47 (1.28)
Turnout: 33.40 %
