Employees at Packington-based electricians A & J Bartlett Ltd have gone into self-isolation until early next month.

All of the team took a Covid-19 test after one was contacted by a friend to say he had tested positive.

From that, one of them tested positive which means they are now self-isolation following on from what they describe as a 'stressful' weekend.

A message on the A & J Bartlett Ltd Facebook page reads: "Sadly on Friday one of our staff was contacted by a friend advising that he'd tested positive for COVID-19.

"Although we were not required to do so, we agreed as a business to all get tested.

"Thankfully the majority of our team returned negative results. However with one of us testing positive and all of us having contact with each other, we've had no option but to begin self isolation.

"If you have not been contacted by one of the team directly we have not had sufficient contact with you for test and trace purposes.

"We'd like to thank all our customers whom work has had to be postponed and for their kind well wishes in whats been a very stressful weekend for us all.

"Rest assured our team will be returning to normal duties from November 5, with the whole team back in work from November 9.

"Stay safe and well. The whole team at A & J Bartlett Ltd."
