Ashby Under-Nines Put Up Brave Fight Against Heather

Ashby Ivanhoe FC Under-nine Knights lost 3-2 to Heather St Johns on Saturday.

Heather were a good solid side who tested the Ashby boys.

Ashby created some good chances, with Ollie Barnett, Ben Stephenson and Paul Kin having a good morning.

Defensively Ashby were solid enough, with new defender Jude Hardington Powl. Impressing on his first outing.

There was also =strong support from Caleb Harden, Joe Smith, Ollie Goodwin, James Brooke and Jalen Farley and in form goalkeeper Harry Milner.
