There will be a road closure in Brook Street for around a month during October.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order here.

A road closure is required on Brook Street from its junction with Elford Street for approximately 50metres on October 3, for four weeks.

The county coiuncil says it is for public safety reasons while culvert repairs are carried out.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Elford Street, Derby Road, Market Street, and vice versa.

During the closures, alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed HERE.
