An Ashby business teaching lifesaving skills is marking its 10th anniversary this month.

Elite Training Solutions has successfully trained thousands of people and supported many local businesses, educational establishments and Government authorities.

It has assisted in producing a number of bespoke training packages, including manual handling courses for the local authority, ensuring clients are fully compliant, or upskilling staff to learn new skills with a combination of face to face training from a number of training locations in the area or at the clients' premises - and also by offering our e-learning courses.

Elite has built a number of long-term relationships with local businesses, individuals and the voluntary sector, and provided free water safety education training to local schools and nurseries for a number of years now.

The business has also supported a number of charity swims.

Elite Training Solutions was founded by former local Lifeguard Tom Bennett in 2013. Tom qualified in 2006 and hung up his whistle in 2022, in that time he has made a considerable impact in saving lives and educating members of the public in drowning prevention, as well as regularly leading staff training sessions for Lifeguards and Leisure staff in the local area.
