This week, an Ashby-based company is looking for a UK Finance Business Partner - a global consumer goods business wants someone to support sales and marketing operations.

Your new company

This prestigious consumer goods business have enjoyed an impressive spell of growth in recent years through the provision of high-quality products through their global distribution network. In order to support their expansion, they are recruiting for a commercially-minded finance business partner to provide support and guidance to the sales and marketing departments.

Your new role

Reporting in to the Head of Finance, you will provide true business partnering as you support a designated business units, working closely with Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to deliver high quality Sales reporting, financial planning and analysis and other support as required

Your key duties will include;

• Developing and maintaining forecasts and annual plans
• Providing commercial and financial support to operations leaders, challenging metrics and providing solutions
• Monthly sales, margin and Opex reporting
• Developing and maintaining pricing models
• Month-end P&L review and analysis
• Sales reporting and forecasting
• Capital asset management reporting

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a confident, professional and engaging finance professional, currently studying or recently qualified in a professional qualification, and be able to demonstrate a strong track record in commercial and financial analysis. You will be a strong business partner able to work across all levels within a business whilst also possessing strong IT and Excel skills (Macros) able to develop value-add reports for senior management.
