Ashby Castle Women's Institute celebrates its 10th anniversary with a party at church venue

Ashby Castle Women's Institute marked its 10th Anniversary this month - and around 50 Members celebrated with a party at St. Helen's Heritage Centre.

Amongst the invited guests were :

Glenice Wignall Chairman of the Board of Trustees LRFWI; The President and Secretary of Ashby Spa WI, Terri Eydman and Heather Grose; The President and Secretary of Coleorton WI, Erica Smith and Geraldine Bedford.

There were also three Founder Members of Ashby Castle WI in attendance.

They were, Barbara Bingley, Councillor Mary Tuckey and Brenda Robinson.

Ashby Castle WI meets on a monthly basis at The Ashby Methodist Church Hall. 

There are regular Speakers, trips out, demonstrations, a Craft Club, a Book Club and a Gardening Section - as well as a Darts Team.
