St Laurence Church in Measham Makes Christmas Toy Appeal Before Sunday's Service

By Graham Hill

5th Dec 2019 | Local News

St Laurence Church in Measham is making an appeal for toys head of Sunday's Toy Service.

The church will be receiving toys - preferably new - at the service which begin at 9.30am.

They will go to the Marlene Reid Centre in Coalville to be given to children who may not be given Christmas presents otherwise.

But the church would like your help. They want people to bring toys to the service or they can be left at the church which is open in the daytime.

However, organisers ask that you do not wrap the presents as the Marlene Reid Centre needs to see what they are so they can be distributed appropriately. But donations of wrapping paper are welcome.
