Our client, a leading organization in the utilities industry, is seeking a talented PMO Programme Planner to join their Future Capability Team. What You'll Do: As a Programme Planner, you will be integral to the strategic planning and execution of research, development, and rollout programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prioritization & Sequencing: Support activities to ensure that work programs are effectively prioritized and sequenced to deliver maximum benefits.
  • Project Governance: Assure acceptable governance of individual projects.
  • Performance Reporting: Report on project and roadmap performance, providing valuable insights to the team and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment on project priorities, timelines, and resources.

Your Role in the Future Capability Team:

  • Gather and consolidate the status and forecast benefits of the project portfolio.
  • Assist in defining project resourcing strategies, optimizing resource allocation based on business priorities.
  • Maintain tools for tracking and reporting projects, including financials, deliverables, risks, and timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall program delivery.

What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in a programme planning or project management role within the utilities or energy sector, ideally in electricity distribution.
  • Strong analytical skills to gather, analyze, and interpret data for informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be equally considered.
  • Proficiency in Programme and Project Management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft applications.
