We have positions for Cargo Screeners operating with our prestigious, household-name client based at East Midlands Airport. Shift pattern: Night shifts on a rotational shift pattern which includes weekends Pay rate: £12.63 per hour The position requires primarily the operation of various X-Ray machines to assist in processing large volumes of freight in a busy Warehouse environment. Additional duties may include Gatehouse Operation, Aircraft Search & other Aviation Security tasks. Successful candidates will benefit from fully funded specific X-ray training which is a recognised qualification across the Aviation Industry. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years UK residency. Due to licensing requirements, you must be over 18 to apply for this position. Your Time at Work As a Cargo Screener, you are a key part of the Aviation security operation on our customer's site. Your duties will include: - Using an x-ray machine, you'll be conducting screening and security checks for prohibited items on cargo to be transported. - Recording and escalating any issues or concerns. - You'll also be conducting screening checks on all staff entering and leaving the warehouse, whilst ensuring the safety of everything in your area.
