Are you looking for your next step in your Linux career? We're looking for an ambitious Linux Systems Administrator to join the team! You will have had at least 1 year experience working with different flavours of Linux, you may have had experience in projects and hands on installation. Our client provides comprehensive technical consultancy and support to large enterprise scale organisations and you will have loads of opportunity to learn new skills, new technologies and flex your technical muscles!You would join their growing Technical Services Team, supporting different customers infrastructure estates from various industry sectors, helping shape the right solution and approach to make it happen. This is a supportive and collaborative organisation where up to 20% of your working week will be dedicated to your own training and development what could that mean for you? You'll always be able to learn new skills!You will benefit from hundreds of courses to further develop your skills and knowledge and progress your career.The role is varied and would see you involved in a range of support activity and projects including:Help with onboarding customers enterprise infrastructure (Could be Oracle, Windows, Linux), Platform migrations, complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.To be considered you will need- 1-year minimum experience with Systems administration experience of Linux / Unix Operating systems- Experience of supporting high availability enterprise systems- Any experience of Database technologies SQL Server, Oracle, etc- A desire to learn new technologies!Location - Castle Donington Hybrid working - 1x day per week office-based Salary - up to £30,000 dependent on experience Benefits - 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing holiday allowance with service to 25 days, pension contribution, Death in Service. Up to 20% of your working week dedicated to training and development This role includes shift based work and an on-call rota UK-based applicants only.
