Dealership Accountant - Independent Prestige Car Dealership

• Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire
• Salary: £40,000 Basic
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join a well-established, independently owned prestige car dealership based in the Ashby-de-la-Zouch area. Roles and Responsibilities as an Accountant:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department
• Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time
• Process payroll for all employees
• Process sales and purchase invoices
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Support the business with general accounting and financial administration duties

What Our Client Expects from Their Accountant:

• Previous experience within an automotive accounts role or similar accounting position
• Relevant accounting qualifications
• Experience using Sage 50 or similar accounting software
• Strong knowledge of VAT returns and payroll processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong IT and financial administration skills
• A proactive, reliable and professional approach to work
