Job Title: Accountant

About the Accountant role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join a family run firm of Chartered Certified Accountants who provide a professional service to sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in practice and a proven track record of delivering high-quality accounting services.

Key Responsibilities of the Accountant:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders and limited companies.
• Submission of corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
• Processing bookkeeping and VAT returns.
• Maintaining regular communication with HMRC, Companies House, and clients.
• Provide tax planning strategies in accordance with existing legislation
• Create financial forecasts and analyse risk

Experience and skills required for the Accountant:

• Significant practice experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Level 3 ACCA or CIMA qualification required
