Ashby Art Club: Fluid Acrylic Workshop with Yve Hill

Smisby Village Hall

UNTIL Saturday 2nd April

Fluid Acrylic Workshop with Yve Hill - 2nd April

  1. 30 - 4.30pm Smisby Village Hall

Open to Club members and non-members - £30.

Email [email protected] to book.

During the afternoon I will be demonstrating lots of different fluid acrylic techniques that participants can try out. At the end of the afternoon you will have made at least three paintings. Workshops are lots of fun and the techniques are quite fascinating to watch.

You will need to bring the following with you:

Acrylic paints, 3/4 colours plus white and black. Student quality is fine. Canvas or board - you will need at least 3.

My recommendation is small canvases, either rectangular or square, no larger than 10 X 12. 250ml PVA glue. Bottle of filtered water with small nozzle top for gradually adding water. Baby Wipes. Kitchen roll.

Watercolour paper for dip paintings. Yoghurt pots with lids if possible for mixing paint preferably with lids in case you have leftovers and need to take them home.

Plastic cups for mixing paint newspaper if you have any. Disposable gloves.
