The next monthly Civic Society event is a talk on Catherine Booth and the Foundation of the Salvation Army and is to be given by Danny Wells.

The talk is open to all - Non members pay a small fee and the event takes place at St Helen's Heritage Centre at 7.30pm on Tuesday 10th March.

Another evening organised by the Civic Society has been arranged for Thursday 26th March at St Helen's Centre at 7.30pm The subject of the evening is Ashby's BID organisation and is titled Who or What is the BID? A presentation will be given by the BID team and questions will be encouraged.
