Quick Flicks at Ashby School Theatre, Nottingham Road, Ashby de la Zouch

Five short historical drama films made by Ashby-based heritage group Pudding Bag Productions.

Each film tells a local story and a true story.

Whether it's Harriett, a 19th-century housekeeper who worked at Calke Abbey and came with a dark secret, or the story of how Sir George Beaumont of Coleorton Hall was important in bringing about the first National Gallery, or just a humorous look at how William Hastings might have planned his tower at Ashby Castle, we hope you will be entertained.

Free Entry. Doors open 7pm and films start 7.20pm. This event is part of Ashby Arts Festival.
