Ashby u3a is delighted to, once again, host Sandy Leong, a member of the Royal Historical Society and a professional and passionate historian, who delights in explaining the depths of history in an accessible way. Sandy will present her talk on - "We're not for sale - a history of Greenland, its history and present strategic importance", so come along on 24th November, at Ashby Congregational Church, Kilwardby Street, Ashby LE65 2FQ, as usual, to listen and learn. Doors open at 1.30pm, for a 2pm start. Please come along for the presentation and stop afterwards for a hot drink, biscuits and chat - members and prospective members all welcome.
