BRITISH COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR COMPETITION IN ASHBY-DE-LA-ZOUCH

Funhouse Comedy is pleased to be presenting stagr two of the semi-finals of the prestigious national 'British Comedian Of The Year Competition' at the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Wednesday 8th November.

The national comedy competition with the biggest prize in comedy brings, 10 pro and semi pro comics to battle it out to try and get through to the next round. Industry judges and you the audience help pick the winners.

Nine comedians (from TV comics to the best rising stars) battle it out to see who will go through to the semi final of the £10,001 British Comedian of the Year competition - the biggest cash prize in UK comedy. Each act performs their best 10 mins, and you (YES YOU!) the audience vote for your favorites to decide who goes through and who doesn't. The power is all yours! 

British Comedian of the Year is open to all acts regardless of level and experience. Hundreds apply and only a small percentage are chosen for the heats. The Grand Final winner will receive £10,001.

The warm and welcoming Spiky Mike will be host and compere on the night.

Curries are only 7.50 & the desserts are just 4.50.

Compere for the night will be the cheery and chatty Spiky Mike.
