Dead of Winter(15) is a fantastically enjoyable thriller set in freezing Minnesota. Emma Thompson is excellent as good-natured widow Barb, who becomes lost in a blizzard and stumbles upon a remote cabin where a young woman is being held captive. With no mobile service and winter conditions, Barb must confront the kidnappers to save her. Contains strong language and some violence.
