Ashby Library is staging a Healthy Heroes event on January 18 which is designed to get your year off to a healthy start.
You will be able to make fruit kebabs, have a go at parachute games, enjoy the Dough Disco, try out the Brain Gym and take part in a treasure hunt.
Measham Car Boot Sale will resume again this week after the Christmas and new year break.
It will be at Gresley Old Hall on January 5th set up is from 6:30am and tables will be supplied.

Ashby's Venture Theatre will be staging a production of The Pitmen Painters next month.
