A traffic incident has closed the A511 between Ashby and Coalville this afternoon (Wednesday).
Emergency services have been called and police said at 1pm the road is expected to be shut for several hours.

And they remain a concern - particularly among those in the rest of the county.
Plans for a new butcher's shop in Donisthorpe have been submitted to North West Leicestershire District Council.
The proposal is for a site on land adjacent to The New Cattle Sheds and Farm House (currently under construction) on Acresford Road from Mr G. Barney.
