'Allo 'Allo and Fawlty Towers feature in dining evenings to be held at the Lower Church Street venue.

Derbyshire's police chief has made reference to the two 'famous ladies' from Ashby after being asked about how many Covid fines had been rescinded by his force.

In January, Jessica Allen and Eliza Moore were landed with £200 penalties for their five mile trip to Foremark Reservoir in South Derbyshire and told their takeaway coffees were considered 'a picnic'.

The Ivanhoe College testing mark the end of the lateral flow tests

Ivanhoe College has closed the doors to its test centre in the school library on Friday - after conducting 4,166 lateral flow tests.

Since the key workers' children and staff returned on January 4, and the whole school returned from March 8, the college is proud to says it has staff and students prepared for home testing.

At an Extraordinary North West Leicestershire District Council meeting on Tuesday, Labour Councillors voiced their concerns over a new version of the Local Plan which was being adopted.

This is a temporary measure, with only very minor changes, whilst a full review of the Local Plan is carried out.
