A family-run Moira company is working with the Leicester City Council to help with social distancing measures by installing over 60 planter boxes.
Hedera Screens has been commissioned to provide the boxes containing living, ivy screening to enforce COVID-19 safety across the city.
The Hello Heritage event is returning in a Covid19-safe format this month.

Two new cases of Coronavirus have been identified in North West Leicestershire during the last 24 hours.
It means the current figures for the district on Tuesday, September 1, are: 351 total cases – Rate per 100,000 population: 338 - which is the lowest in the county.

Virtual appointments will be the new normal for 70 per cent of outpatients if Leicestershire health bosses meet a target set as part of plans to build on changes made to local services during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Health chiefs want to see the majority of outpatient appointments, including initial assessments and follow-ups, take place either via video or phone call by the end of this year.

Campaigners for the installation of a new solar-powered speed awareness camera in Blackfordby say it will play a key role in continuing to reduce the speed of vehicles through the village.
Ashby de la Zouch Town Council has funded the updated camera and arranged for its installation.

Updated data released on Friday shows that there were no Coronavirus-related deaths recorded during July in the Ashby area and surrounding villages.
The data localises how many people have died from Covid-19 in each region.
A Foresters Market to promote the National Forest is being planned for Ashby in October.
The proposal is to set up 10 to 15 stands in Brook Street on October 17.

A group of Ashby-based tree surgeons are planning to climb the equivalent of Mount Everest on Bank Holiday Monday in aid of the Young Minds Charity.
The climbers are all from the Eden Tree Care and Fencing in Newbold and they will be scaling a tree at the Bath Grounds.

The Ashby Arts Festival Creative Weekender will be launched online today (Saturday) after the main event in May had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Festival organisers say they have a wide range of contributors for the Bank Holiday platform where artists can showcase their work.
