Jim's Tractor Run is set to go ahead this July after being cancelled last year due to the Covid pandemic.
A date has been set for July 25 and Ashby de la Zouch Town Council is inviting applications from stallholders.

The day after Ashby was highlighted as a Covid 'hotspot', North West Leicestershire returned the second highest infection seven-day rate in the county.
While the figures are down massively from their January highs of more than 400 cases per 100,000 people in the district, the rates are second only to Leicester in the county of Leicestershire.

A man has been arrested and charged with theft and assault with beating, following an incident at a shop in Moira.
The incident took place early last month at the store in Shortheath Road.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the whole of England, with heavy winds and rain forecast from Wednesday evening.
The warning is from 21.00 hours tomorrow night (Wednesday) until 15:00 on Thursday.

Students returning to Ashby School this week will receive three lateral flow tests during the first two weeks back.
Ivanhoe College will also have a phased return to the classroom and has sent a detailed letter to parents telling them how the procedure will work.

Ashby School head teacher Geoff Staniforth will be retiring later this month.
Mr Staniforth says in the Spring Edition of The Ashbeian that he will be leaving on March 26.
