The council has binned plans to close rubbish tips at Ashby and Coalville two hours earlier in the summer months.
Ashby Ivanhoe FC had some unusual visitors to their NFU ground on Monday morning - a herd of sheep!
The Midland League team posted a video of the animals roaming the pitch at their Lower Packington Road headquarters.

Traffic delays are expected in the area this morning on the A42.
The northbound carriageway between J13 for Ashby souls and Measham, and J12, Flagstaff Island, has one lane blocked after a three vehicle collision.
