Ashby de la Zouch Town Council has released the results of its Best Dressed Christmas Window Competition results.

First prize went to Ashby Nub News sponsors, The Decorator Centre, in Derby Road. Congratulations to them.

The Mayor of Ashby, Cllr Avril Wilson judged the windows last weekend during the Ashby Christmas Market.

The Town Council said: "Thank you to all of the businesses who took their time to make fabulous displays.

"The town looks beautiful and very Christmassy.

"Congratulations to the top three, it was a hard decision."

While The Decorator Centre took top prize, it was Smithards Bakery in second, with the Fabric Boutique in third spot.
