Books of condolence and floral tribute areas are open in both Ashby and Measham following death of Queen Elizabeth II

A book of condolence - and a space for floral tributes following the death of Queen Elizabeth II - is available in both Ashby and Measham.
Ashby de la Zouch Town Council Offices will have a book of condolence at its Legion House offices in South Street.
Floral tributes can be made at the War Memorial garden in Market Street and Brook Street in Ashby.
There is also a book of condolence at Measham Leisure Centre.
Floral tributes can also be made at the front of St Laurence Church, High Street, Measham
Books of condolence will be also opened today (Friday) at the North West Leicestershire District Council Offices on Whitwick Road in Coalville.
This will be available to sign between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
The official garden of remembrance for North West Leicestershire is on the lawns outside the Council Offices in Coalville.
Members of the public are asked to remove cellophane wrapping before laying flowers.
The district council adds that, after an appropriate period and in accordance with the guidance set out by Buckingham Palace, any flowers and tributes from places in the above list will be cleared away.
