Refurbishment Technician

- Carrying out hands-on repair work using a variety of hand and power tools
- Assessing damage and deciding whether to repair, recondition, or regrade returned goods
- Cleaning and restoring equipment ready for future use
- Logging your work accurately and following basic reporting procedures
- Occasionally visiting sites alongside a senior engineer (though this is a workshop-based role)
- Supporting efforts to reduce unnecessary write-offs and get items back into stock
- A practical and reliable approach with a can-do attitude
- Experience using tools and basic electrical skills if you can wire a plug and understand the difference between live and neutral, you re off to a good start
- Good computer literacy (Word, Excel) and able to record information clearly
- An eye for detail and a tidy, methodical working style
- A background in general maintenance or a similar field would be advantageous
- A forklift licence is useful but not essential training can be provided
- Ideally someone with some work experience under their belt, rather than a school leaver
- A Monday to Friday, full-time permanent role with stable hours
