About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Operations & Stock Coordinator to join a busy and supportive team based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with experience in stock control, order management, stores, or customer operations who is looking to secure a long-term role within a growing business.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining stock accuracy, progressing orders, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
• Manage and progress customer and supplier orders
• Raise sales and purchase orders on internal systems
• Place orders with suppliers and monitor delivery schedules
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure order due dates are maintained and updated
• Book in deliveries and organise stock within the stores area
• Maintain high standards of stores housekeeping
• Resolve operational queries and support day-to-day business activities
• Support occasional local collections when required

About You

• Previous experience in stock control, stores, inventory management, order processing, or a similar operational role
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Good communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers and colleagues
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Competent IT skills and experience using internal systems
