Culina Group operates from over 100+ depots across the UK and Ireland, serving more than 1,000 clients over its framework of chilled, ambient, contract packaging solutions and fresh and baked goods.Company OverviewThe Pallet Network (Part of the Culina Group) facilitates pallet deliveries across the UK, Ireland and Europe through its cross dock facilities at Swadlincote, Coventry and Preston.At Culina we have a winning culture, we believe that our culture is one of the reasons our company continues to thrive A place where you're valued, challenged, and inspired!Job DescriptionAs Network Developer your role is to increase and enhance the membership of the Company to ensure The Pallet Network can offer the most effective service to the network and to account manage the current membership.You will need to be able to generate leads and secure meetings with potential clients to maximize growth potential for the business. You will need to be a driven and motivated sales person with a strong commerical acumen.Role Responsibilities:
  • Agree a geographical area development plan with Managing Director
  • Identify potential Partners to join the Network
  • Undertake cold calls to generate face to face meetings with potential Partners
  • Introduce Managing Director to potential Partners when required
  • Maintain Company database of potential Partners
  • Promote and present TPN services
  • Secure postcode coverage where required
  • Account manage the current partnership as required
  • Understand the pallet industry through networking
  • Keep up to date with Company services
  • Work closely with relevant internal departments
  • Prepare and submit weekly activity report to Managing Director
  • Undertake projects as required
  • Always ensure that TPN Ltd's interests are protected at all times
  • Refer any unsolved problems to the Managing Director
  • Stay updated on other Network Partners and opportunities to maximize growth potential
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the pallet industry, its dynamics, competitors, and emerging trends acquired through networking, research, and experience.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques, including cold calling, to generate leads and secure meetings with potential partners.
  • Ability to identify and address issues independently
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office
