FT Recruitment are currently recruiting for a PPT Driver on behalf of our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.

PPT Driver Job Benefits:

• 12.73 per hour
• Rotating shifts of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm

PPT Driver Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a PPT to transport goods and materials to designated location
• Loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement
• Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated location
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays
• Assist with stock counts and movements and any other operational work areas
• Ensure the warehouse and loading areas are kept clean and tidy at all times including general housekeeping duties
• Adhere to Health and Safety Procedures
• Any other tasks as required

PPT Driver Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a PPT Driver, preferably in a commercial or warehouse setting
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance
• Familiarity with various types of vehicles, such as vans and flatbed trucks
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
