Grounds Maintenance Senior Operative
Working from Coalville Park you will join the Grounds Maintenance Team, supervising a small team covering North West Leicestershire District. The ideal candidate will hold a full UK driving licence, have grounds maintenance experience, proven experience of supervising a small team and experience of using a wide range of horticultural machinery and equipment. Having knowledge/experience in a range of grounds maintenance operations such as sports turf maintenance and hard and saft landscaping would be advantageous, however, training can be given to increase your skill levels if needed. The work within the team will be varied, so flexibility and a willingness to undertake tasks on a number of sites is needed. You will need to be able to work well within a team, be reliable and flexible within the hours worked and have good communication skills in dealing with customers.
• 37 hours per week with an annual salary of £26,949- £28,724 per annum
• 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years (full time equivalent)
