An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join us as a Procurement Officer.

You will be responsible for providing proactive and customer focused procurement advice to the whole organisation, with a specific focus on supporting our housing service, given the large number of contracts housing are currently dealing with.

We are looking for someone who can build and maintain successful relationships both internally and externally and who is able to communicate effectively with a varying range of people.

To apply for this post, you must have a relevant MCIPS qualification or be making significant progress towards this qualification, have detailed knowledge and a good understanding of the procurement cycle, contract law, good procurement practices and relevant legislation.

You need to have a successful record of working in partnership, engaging effectively with others and building productive working relationships along with a track record in successfully interpreting policy and strategy into practical actions.

• 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £39,186 - £43,421 (pay award pending)
