Contracts Supervisor

The Council's Housing Asset Management Team is looking for three Contracts Supervisors to help manage the effective delivery of the Council's planned investment and capital programmes across its 4100c tenanted council properties.

The successful candidates must be able to:

• ensure compliance with building industry regulations regarding improving and refurbishing the council's housing stock.

• ensure the effective relationships between the team, contractors, customers, and stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery of improvement projects and contracts.

• design and manage projects effectively including monitoring progress and controlling expenditure within budget and ensuring that standards and quality of work meet all contractual performance requirements.

You must have previous experience of working in social housing environment, demonstrable experience of managing construction projects, experience of supervising external contractors and of managing and controlling budgets in a customer-oriented environment.

• 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £34,834 - £38,223 (pay award pending)
