About the Role: As a Design Engineer, you'll: • Support tooling repairs, modifications, and continuous improvement projects• Manage engineering drawings, tooling data, and CAD documentation• Liaise with toolmakers and manufacturing teams on technical requirements• Support process improvements and engineering administration activities• Assist with audits, revision control, and documentation within a regulated environment This role is around 40% design engineering and 60% administration/documentation due to industry regulations and legacy tooling data. Mechanical Design Engineer Swadlincote £35,000 - £40,000 SF Engineering are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our established manufacturing client based in Swadlincote. The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Manager. The primary function of the role is the design and development of company products and systems. You will also support other sections within the company with technical expertise.
