Our client have an immediate requirement for a Health & Safety Coordinator / Manager on a Freelance basis for a 12 month contract duration. Project location - Ashby-De-La-Zouch
- Experience on automation systems and machinery safety requirements
- Experience on coordinating HS topics under CDM regulations
- NEBOSH qualifications
- IOSH membership
- PUWER assessments
- Working on site from 8am to 4pm, five days per week
- Management of safety paperwork + our subcontractors Site registers, Temporary Work register, HS records, inductions, tool box talks, etc.
- Review the companies & subcontractors RAMS, provide feedback and suggestions for corrections + submitting these to Principal Contractor
- Acting as the direct contact between Principal contractor HS department and the companies site team / operatives.
- Conduct safety walk rounds on a daily basis
- Give corrective instructions to personnel who are not compliant with rules
- Confirm Plant and Tools are in proper shape and tagged/inspected regularly (PUWER)
- AP qualification and knowledge to create lifting plans
- Face fit trainee qualification
