Food Preparation Assistant (Sunday only)

Sunday only - 9.00 am to 5.30 pm

Based at our Saffron HQ in Swadlincote

We're looking for a Food Production Assistant to assist in providing a link between our Nights team and Day team and help craft high-quality food products that our customers love.

If you have experience in food production and are looking for a busy kitchen job for Sunday's only, we'd love to hear from you. What matters most to us is a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and a keen eye for detail. This person will be supporting our Food Trucks Team to help them be fully stocked with food before leaving for their routes.

What You'll Be Doing:

Food prep – Assist with the preparation and assembly of ingredients for daily production, including making wraps, and cooking off pies/pasties etc.

Production support – Operate and maintain equipment to ensure efficient, timely output.

Quality checks – Help maintain high standards for consistency, presentation, and hygiene.

Packaging & labelling – Support accurate and efficient packing and labelling for delivery.

Clean & organised workspace – Ensure your area is tidy and food-safe at all times.

Stock support – Help monitor and replenish ingredients and packaging materials as needed.
