MONDAY - FRIDAY - No weekends!

Staffing Match are working with our well-respected national logistics client, we have opportunities for permanent HGV 1 drivers to work for them.

Benefits

• Weekly pay
• Overtime available
• 23 plate vehicles
• 33 days holiday (dictated by factory shut downs)

Rates of pay

• 16.25 per hour basic
• 20.31 per hour overtime after 48 hours

Duties

• Completing 3 - 5 trunk runs per day
• 4am-9am starts.
• Curtain sider work
• Make on time deliveries
• Follow Company policies and procedures
• Strapping loads correctly (awkward loads)

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
• Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
• Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor infringements with no major endorsement codes
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in strapping abnormal loads would be advantageous

Training

You will be required to pass a driving assessment before attending a Three-day company programme.
