Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading national firm of chartered surveyors and property consultants, is seeking a talented and motivated Town Planner to join our dynamic team in Ashby.

My client provides exceptional planning and property consultancy services across the UK. The team works on a diverse range of projects, from residential and commercial developments to strategic land promotions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and delivering a range of planning projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide planning advice to clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and representations.
  • Conduct site appraisals, research, and analysis to inform planning strategies.
  • Liaise with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders.

About You:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field.
  • Over 1 year of experience in planning consultancy or a related role.
  • Knowledge of the UK planning system, policies, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for delivering practical and effective planning solutions.
