Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Location: East Midlands, Derbyshire, Derby

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Construction

Salary: £230 - £250 Per day

Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence

A Quality focused House Builder with a name in the industry for their award-winning projects is looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join on a temp to perm basis.

The site is located in Derbyshire and consists of traditional new build houses.

Job Duties:
  • Assist the Site Manager in overseeing daily operations on the construction site
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and construction workers
  • Monitor progress and quality of work on-site
  • Assist in resolving any issues or delays that may arise
  • Keep accurate records of all activities and report to the Site Manager
Required Qualifications:
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
  • First Aid Certification
  • Valid Driving Licence
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in construction management
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional health and safety certifications
  • Experience with traditional new build houses
  • Previous experience working with a quality-focused house builder
Working Conditions:
  • Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as required
  • Work primarily on-site in Derbyshire
